Arakkal Museum located at a distance of 3 kms from Kunnar. The museum is built in a section of Arakkal Palace in which the Durban hull section was converted into a museum. The museum is famed for showcasing maps, records, drawings of the survey along with several other manuscripts. The museum though presently being looked after by the Government of India but still its ownership belongs to the Arakkal family and is looked after by the trust.
