Palghat, also known as Palakkad is known as the Gateway of Kerala, wherein it offers the rest of the country, an access to the State. Services of state-run as well as private buses are available from several parts of Kerala for Palghat. However, government buses are cheaper. Both AC and non-AC buses are available.
