Lighthouse Beach has an iconic 30-meters-high lighthouse, standing on rocky platform on the southern end of the beach. The observation platform in the beach can be reached by climbing 142 steps; here you can behold the sight of Poovar and the popular Beemapalli Mosque. Flourishing greenery adds immense charm to this golden-sanded beach. Visitors can either relax or jump off for enthralling adventure-sports activities here, like surfing, parasailing, paragliding and others. Being a popular tourist attraction, Lighthouse beach is in close proximity with resorts, restaurants and hotels. Also, conveyance is not a concern, as Lighthouse Beach is at a short distance from the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (11 km) and Trivandrum International Airport (10km).
